Cosmic Consciousness

Cosmic Consciousness is a higher form of consciousness than that possessed by the ordinary man.

Types of Consciousness

(1) Simple - possessed by upper half of animal kingdom, dog or horse is just as conscious of the things about him as man is

(2) Self - man is not only conscious of trees, rocks, waters, but he becomes conscious of himself as a distinct entity apart from all the rest of the universe (incapable for animals otherwise we could open up communication)

(3) Cosmic - a consciousness of the cosmos, that is, of the life and order of the universe

Language

Language is the objective of which self consciousness is the subjective. The ability to communicate (language) is not simply incidental; rather, it is intrinsically tied to and reflective of the inner state of self-awareness.

Language is self-consciousness made manifest. It’s the outer expression of what exists inwardly as individual consciousness.
